2030 NORTH
IN THE GRIP OF CLIMATE CHANGE: CIRCUMPOLAR CANADA 2030
Presentations and discussion will focus on the range and cumulative effects of
climate change impacts, the promise and limits of adaptation, and the role of
the Canadian and circumpolar Arctic in developing and implementing national and
global climate change policy. Of particular interest will be adaptation
strategies concerning wildlife and habitat; non-renewable resource development;
community infrastructure; people, culture and society; and territorial,
provincial, federal and international obligations.
