Climate Wars at 2030
We are pleased to bring you, in association with WWF, an addition to the 2030 NORTH program.
At 7pm on June 4th, we will offer a talk by two of the foremost authorities on climate and security issues. Acclaimed author and broadcaster Gwynne Dyer will offer his insights into the potential for future conflict triggered by climate change, gleaned from an impressive interview list of global climate and security experts. The interviews were conducted for the recent book and radio series produced by Dyer, Climate Wars.
Dyer will be joined by Arctic security expert Rob Huebert, who will present the results of his look at the security implications of Arctic climate change, commissioned by WWF. Huebert’s new report on the subject will be officially launched at this event.
Join these two renowned thinkers for a journey into the potential futures that await us, if climate change actions are insufficient.
This event is free of charge and open to the public, but you must
